Ranger combines data from several open sources. We are required to credit them.

• Recreation Information Database (RIDB): federal facility data. Licensed CC-BY. ridb.recreation.gov.
• National Park Service: park info, alerts, things-to-do. Public domain. developer.nps.gov.
• USGS 3DEP / SRTM: elevation. Public domain.
• Open-Topo-Data: elevation drape for OSM trail geometry. opentopodata.org.
• Open-Meteo: weather forecast and climate normals. open-meteo.com.
• US Census Bureau: 2020 decennial population data and TIGER/Line state polygons that power our city and state hub pages. Public domain. census.gov.

Trail and weather information is for planning only and is not a substitute for current official conditions, navigation, or personal judgment. Conditions change.
